The layers that make up the Maxidrain® Green Roof Systems are listed as Filter Geotextile, Drainage sheet, Moisture retention / Separator Geotextile and Root Barrier membrane, starting from the bottom of the substrate, from top to bottom.
Filter Geotextile is made of polypropylene, which is non-woven and bonded by heat treatment, does not clog, does not rot under the ground and fulfills its filtration task for years.
The most important feature that distinguishes Maxidrain Drainage Boards from other single-side dimpled drainage sheets is that they are double-sided dimpled. This feature not only provides water storage to Maxidrain Drainage Boards, but also leaves an aeration gap, providing aeration of the soil from below and providing the oxygen needed by the plant roots. In the meantime, it removes excess water from the system by draining in the direction of the slope. Maxidrain Drainage Boards are produced in four different heights according to needs:
Maxidrain 25 is recommended for roofs with a height of 25 mm and non-walkable (extensive) (soil layer up to 8-12 cm).
- Maxidrain 40, on the other hand, is recommended for roofs with a height of 40 mm and walkable (intensive) (soil layer greater than 12 cm).
Net Yapı Maxidrain Extensive Green Roof Systems System Description
This system is placed on the existing waterproofing.
Foil, Water retention /Separation Geotextile, Maxidrain® 25
Green Roof Drainage Sheet ,TS 10 filter fleece
It consists of geotextile and mineral-rich substrate layer.
Scope of application
MAXIDRAIN Extensive Green Roof Systems are preferred on roofs with limited load capacity and non-walkable roofs.
Advantages
- The most economical green roof system.
- It contributes to heat and water insulation.
- During heavy rains, the system stores rain water until it becomes saturated, reduces and delays the amount of rain water drained to the sewage system.
- It is applied on roofs with low carrying capacity.
Why Maxidrain Extensive Green Roof Systems?
- One of the most important features of Extensive Green Roof Systems is that the vegetation applied on it requires very little maintenance.
- The plants used in this system should be resistant to extreme climatic conditions on the roofs and it is more appropriate to prefer species with low water consumption.
- A mixture of sedum plants suitable for the current geography and climatic conditions should be ed.
Net Yapı Maxidrain Intensive Green Roof Systems System Description
This system consists of Root Barrier Membrane, Water retention / Separation Geotextile, Maxidrain® 40 Green Roof Drainage Board, TS 10 Geotextile and mineral-rich substrate on top of the existing waterproofing.
Scope of application
MAXIDRAIN Intensive Green Roof Systems offer all the possibilities of a normal garden. These types of systems are suitable for heavy pedestrian traffic. In addition, irrigation systems can be applied on this type of roof.
Advantages
- Suitable for daily use.
- It contributes to heat and water insulation.
- During heavy rains, the system stores rain water until it becomes saturated, reduces and delays the amount of rain water supplied to the network.
Why Maxidrain Intensive Green Roof Systems?
Systems suitable for the construction of parks and recreation areas on structures such as underground car parks, walkways and tunnels. The life of the vegetation applied on it is equivalent to the life of the plants in their natural environment. In this type of system, small shrubs and trees are grown with the help of root balls.
